Dr. and Mrs. Clifton Sheets of Fredericksburg are pleased to announce the marriage of their son, Kevin Tyler Sheets, to the beautiful Frances (Cissy) Anne Kenny, on Saturday, March 3, 2012, at the Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church.

Cissy is the daughter of Frances and James Taylor of Virginia Beach and Jim Kenny of Bainbridge Island, Wash. Kevin is the grandson of retired Col. William and Nancy Mickelson of Fredericksburg.

Kevin is pursuing his Ph.D. from the School of Biomedical Engineering and Sciences at Virginia Tech and Cissy is pursuing her nursing degree from New River Community College. The newlyweds met during a summer mission trip in Virginia Beach in 2009.

The couple enjoyed a honeymoon in the Dominican Republic. They reside in Blacksburg.
