As a moth eats away at cloth and termites destroy the foundation of a house, so sin destroys the moral fabric of a nation. A nation righteous will be a nation great, and a nation sinful will be a nation weak, having no direction.

Almost every area in America--government, schools, entertainment, and society--is crumbling. The one area that made America great was its churches. At one time churches proclaimed righteousness, holiness, and repentance. Today many churches are just politically correct, feel-good, what's-in-it-for-me churches. Many pastors and priests celebrate same-sex marriage. Many church leaders do not believe that the Bible is the inerrant Word of God. Many "Christians" today support abortion. At last count this nation had killed more than 53,000,000 babies.

At one time an organization comprising Catholics and Protestants helped keep profanity, nudity, and violence out of movies. Now movies are filled with sex, violence, and profanity. The first book taught in our schools was the Holy Bible. Prayer was encouraged and the Ten Commandants were displayed. Today you will see no Bibles, you will hear no prayers, and see no Ten Commandments on display. Our public schools are humanistic. Evolution is taught as truth. This leaves us with no loving God, no hope, and no direction.

We have the most corrupt, scandal-ridden, deceitful government this nation has ever seen. Movies and television constantly profane God's name. Christians are the only religious group that is mocked, ridiculed, and made to look weak and stupid.

The truth is it takes a very bold, courageous, and strong individual to follow Jesus Christ. Churches, don't be like the Laodiceans spoken of in Revelation 3:14-22 ("neither cold or hot"); repent and turn to God so that once again this nation can become strong and so that government, schools, entertainment, and society can see the love, power, mercy, and forgiveness in the one true God we as Christians love.
