Three Ruther Glen women are charged with setting up a drug sale and then trying to rob the buyers.

Deputies responded Friday to a home on Yorktown Drive in the Lake Caroline subdivision for a reported fight in progress, according to Sheriff Tony Lippa.

Lippa said a couple from King George said they went to the home to buy some pills, but were attacked instead. A neighbor called the police after they saw a fight going on in the front yard, he said.

A male suffered injuries, Lippa said.

JoAnn Marie Ball, 23, is charged with two counts of robbery and one count of conspiring to commit robbery.

Joann Dale McBride, 63, is charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to commit robbery, and malicious wounding.

Endora Yvette Jaime-Fitting, 43, is charged with two counts of robbery and one count each of conspiring to commit robbery, assault and distribution of a controlled substance.

All three are being held without bond at the Pamunkey Regional Jail. A court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 28.
