Drop off medications at Spotsylvania sites

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office has announced an outreach project--Operation Medicine Cabinet--aimed at the proper disposal of old medications.

The Sheriff's Office will man two drop-off sites later this month.

One will be at Emergency & Outpatient Services at Lee's Hill and the other at the main entrance to the Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.

Anyone wishing to get rid of unused or expired medication can do so from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sept. 29.

The Sheriff's Office is handling the medication drop-off program in conjunction with the DEA and Mary Washington Healthcare.
