Joseph Vincent "Joe" Gioffre, 70, of Chester (formerly Stafford County) passed away Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2012, at Retreat Hospital.
Joe was actively employed with the City of Richmond, public utilities water department. He spent his time away from work doing the things he loved--traveling, reading and many hours painting all the beautiful things he had seen in life.
Joe is survived by his daughters, Tina Littek and Alexis Wright; grandchildren Kiely and Brody; and brothers Carmen and James Thomas "JT" Gioffre.
His final resting place will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
