Teena Marie Scheffer, 56, of Stafford County passed away at Mary Washington Hospital on Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012.

She is survived by her husband, Charles Scheffer of Greensboro; son Charles Scheffer of Greensboro; daughter Amelia Scheffer of Fredericksburg; mother Willa Mae Green of Stafford; sister Jeanne Bonwill, niece Carson and nephew Peyton, with whom she made her home; two other sisters, Marina Meadows and husband, Dwayne, of Altoona, Penn., and Heather Green of Stafford; numerous other nieces and nephews; and her loving dog, Harley.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9, at Mullins and Thompson Funeral Service, Stafford, with the family receiving friends an hour prior to the service. Interment will be private.
