I arrived home from work recently to find a note stuck in my storm door. Thinking it was just another unsolicited advertisement, I pulled it out and noticed it was addressed by hand to "Your Army Family."
Inside was a card with the following handwritten note: "Just happened to see your flag! Thank you for your service and sacrifices." It was signed, "A Grateful Spotsy Army Vet's Mom." Also in the card was a $50 gift card
I am an Army vet who served 24 years and proudly fly the U.S. and Army flags at my home. To whoever left the nice card and generous gift, thank you very much for your thoughtfulness. You made my day!
