Elizabeth F. Shelton, 89, of Ferry Farm in Stafford County went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Sept. 9, 2012, at Woodmont Center.
Mrs. Shelton was a native of Stafford and a member of Ferry Farm Baptist Church. She had worked at the Virginia Shoe Factory, Farmer's Creamery, Sheraton, and retired from Woodmont Center.
Survivors include her son, Harold Davis Shelton, and his wife, Scarlett, of Ferry Farm; nephew David Graves; and nieces Madeline Abbott, Audrey Snellings and Norma Thomas. She was preceded in death by brothers Albert, Aubrey and Leonard Graves; and sisters Emma Hicks, Elsie Thomas and Iva Fines.
The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 13, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel, with a service at 2 p.m. The Rev. Paige Young and the Rev. Scott Covington will officiate. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
