David Louis Ruiz, 50, of Spotsylvania County, formerly of Montana, passed away Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at his home.

Survivors include his wife, Tammy Ruiz; sons Louie Ruiz and partner Sammi Smith and Joseph Ruiz; daughter Julia Ruiz; parents Louis B. Ruiz Jr. and Carol Ruiz; two brothers; two sisters; three nieces; two nephews; and grandson Augustin Ruiz.
A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 14, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with a gathering following in the church hall. Interment will be in Montana.
