Harrison Young, 82, of Tappahannock departed this life Monday, Sept. 17, 2012, at his residence.

He is survived by three children, Darlene Y. London of Tappahannock, Harlan E. Young (Deloris) of Tappahannock and Rodney H. Young Sr. (Sylvia) of Toano.

A viewing will be held at Washington Funeral Home, 1404 Tappahannock Blvd., Tappahannock, from 1 to 4 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, and at St. John's Baptist Church, Tappahannock, from 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service. The funeral will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the church, with the Rev. Linwood Jones, pastor, officiating and the Rev. Russell Smith as eulogist.
