Vernard Winslow, 49, of King George County passed away Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
Vernard had served as pianist for many churches in Caroline County, King George and the surrounding areas.
He is survived by his wife, Monique Winslow; two sons, Miles Ragin and Robert Winslow; and daughter Sierra Ragin, all of King George; mother Essie Winslow of Brooklyn, N.Y.; and two sisters and six brothers, all of New York.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 22, at Shiloh Baptist Church in Port Royal. Viewing will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 21, at Cedell Brooks Funeral Home, and for one hour prior to the service at the church.
