Christopher Patrick McDaniel, 18, of Mineral in Louisa County, passed away Friday, Sept. 21, 2012.
Chris was a graduate of Riverbend High School, where he was a member of the football team. He also enjoyed playing baseball, soccer and basketball. Chris had been a go-kart racer and loved the Dallas Cowboys.
Survivors include his mother, Sarah Lynn McDaniel, of Mineral; father Mike Cundiff of Partlow; maternal grandparents Dannie and Carole Hays of Fredericksburg; maternal grandfather John Anderson McDaniel of Kissimmee, Fla.; paternal grandparents Bill and Gloria Cundiff of Fredericksburg; uncles Todd McDaniel of Corbin and Bill Cundiff of King George County; cousin T.J. McDaniel of Corbin; and numerous other great-aunts, -uncles and cousins.
A service will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 25, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg Chapel. Interment will be private.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Sept. 24, at the funeral home.
