Barbara Suter Timmons, 65, of Unionville went home to the Lord on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012.
She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Barbara was a member of Rhoadesville Baptist Church and also attended Crosspoint Church.
She is survived by her husband, Ashby G. Timmons; two sons, Stacey L. Timmons and his wife, Cathy, and Shawn G. Timmons; brother William F. Suter Jr.; and sister Caroline S. Hoffman. Survivors also include two stepgrandchildren, Sarah and Mary Gillum; and numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.
A visitation will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Rhoadesville Baptist Church, Rhoadesville. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 29, at the church, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The Rev. Nancy Stanton McDaniel will officiate the service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that contributions be made to the Community Missions Fund of Rhoadesville Baptist Church or the American Liver Foundation at liverfoundation.org.
