Margaret Sofelier Christopher, 90, of Fredericksburg passed away Wednesday, Sept. 26, 2012, at her home.

Margaret is survived by her children, Jean Williams and her husband, George, Lindsey Washington and his wife, Carol, Estelle Peterson and her husband, Howard, Juanita Christopher, Vivian Brooks, Vera Craig and Deborah Christopher, all of Fredericksburg, Jerlean Christopher of South Carolina and Andrew Paul Christopher and his wife, Vivian of New Jersey; a sister, Josephine Brown of Fredericksburg; and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Christopher; three daughters, Lenora Queen, Delores Finnie and Paulette Cox; and a son, Earl Christopher Jr.

Margaret's family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 3, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Shiloh (Old Site) Baptist Church, 801 Sophia St., Fredericksburg with the Rev. Lawrence Davies officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memory Gardens.
