Two Stafford County men were robbed at knifepoint by three men who accosted them while the victims were lounging in their backyard, authorities said.
Sheriff's Maj. David Decatur said the incident occurred Thursday afternoon in the 400 block of Oakridge Drive in North Stafford. The victims, who are in their early 20s, said they were relaxing on the patio about 3:30 p.m. when three men jumped a fence and confronted them with pocket knives.
The intruders forced the victims to accompany them into the home, then helped themselves to various items while keeping the knives pointed toward the victims.
Among the items taken were a laptop computer, an iPhone 4, Beats headphones, video games and clothes. Decatur said the intruders also took a wallet and cash from one of the victims.
The intruders left through the front door and were last seen heading east on Oakridge, Decatur said. They were described as black males, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, about 200 pounds, wearing black jackets and blue jeans.
Deputies and a police dog searched the area but were unable to find the intruders. Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 658-4400 or Crime Solvers at 659-2020.
