Stafford authorities seek man wanted for exposing himself

Stafford County authorities are searching for a 25-year-old man wanted on a number of charges.

Laurence Alan Stewart II has been charged with indecent exposure, obscene sexual display and violation of a protective order.

Stewart is accused of exposing himself to passersby on two separate occasions in July and August while sitting in his car at the Stafford Marketplace in North Stafford, police said.

Detective Greg Bender investigated both incidents, and his investigation has resulted in warrants being issued for Stewart's arrest.

Stewart was last seen in North Stafford in mid-August.

Anyone with information about Stewart's whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 540/658-4400, Crime Solvers at 540/659-2020, or text STAFFORD and your tip to CRIMES (274637).

The Sheriff's Office also asks that anyone who witnessed an incident like the ones Stewart is charged with to contact authorities.
