Obama feckless, but family has good time

I have to respond to the Bob Seward's Oct. 14 letter ["First debate: First impressions"]. In Obama, he saw "the adult" with "thoughtful experience." I saw a man so far over his head he finally realized he was in trouble without his teleprompter.

I am sure the president is a nice man, but Herman Cain summed it up: "He could not even run a pizza joint."

What we have is a four-year disaster. We have added $5 trillion to the federal debt. There has been no effort to reduce it. The Senate has not produced a budget in three years, and there is no leadership from the president to deal with the federal tax structure.

Other than that he has done a great job. By the way, his and his family's lifestyle cost the taxpayers more than $1 billion last year. Each voter must figure out whether we want four more years like the last four or whether is it time to change direction.

Choose wisely, my friends, choose wisely.
