Betty Ann Fines, 79, of Falmouth went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. Fines was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was nurturing, giving and taking care of her family. Mrs. Fines was a member of Kings Highway Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Eugene G. Fines of Falmouth; son Donald E. Fines and wife Denise R. Fines of Spotsylvania County; daughters Debra S. Fines of Falmouth and Tammy J. Fines of Spotsylvania; her last surviving sibling, Elsie Bourne of Falmouth; six grandchildren Cheri Mills, David Fines, Maria Atkins, Jon Atkins, Jeremy Fines and Kaitlyn Longerbeam; and 13 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be David Fines, Jeremy Fines, Jon Atkins, Wayne Habron, Jerry Habron and Ricky Habron.
