George Wayne Boxley, 59, of Fredericksburg died Sunday, Oct. 14, 2012, surrounded by his family.

He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife, Terry Pettus; three daughters, Patricia (Thomas) Daniel, Stacey Pettus and Tracey (Jack) Parson of Fredericksburg; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Other survivors incluide a brother, R. Lloyd (Louise) Boxley of Fredericksburg; two sisters, Winnie B. Johnson of Silver Spring, Md., and Virginia B. Boxley of Greenbelt, Md.; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Oct. 22, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be at 2 p.m. in Quantico National Cemetery with military honors.
