Michael Wayne Carter, 51, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at his home in Locust Grove.
He is survived by wife Gloria Carter; son Jeremiah James; daughter Michelle Carter; two grandchildren, Kyleigh and Kenzie Eckler; mother Jacqueline Carter; brother Kelton Carter (Marjorie); sister Diane Claudon (Bob); brother-in-law Stuart Ruark; nephews Cory Carter (Linn), Bradley Carter (Jennifer), William Buchanan (Becky and family) and Daniel Ruark; two great-nephews, Kelton and Liam; and one great-niece, Katlyn.
Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, at Mullins & Thompson Funeral Service, 168 Shelton Shop Road, Stafford County. A service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19, at the Stafford Chapel. Burial will follow in Rock Hill Cemetery.
