Harry R. Crouch

Harry Redmon Crouch, 91, of King George County, formerly of Clifton, passed away Wednesday, Oct. 17, 2012, at his residence.

Mr. Crouch was born June 6, 1921, in Clifton, son of the late Ralph S. and Ollie Mae (Smith) Crouch.

He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served his country in World War II. He was a member of the VFW Post 8469, Fairfax Station. He loved baseball, bowling and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nena E. Crouch.

Survivors include two children, H. Ray Crouch and wife Pam of Spotsylvania County, and Lois Ann Deem and husband Jerry of King George; six grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at 9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at Pierce Funeral Home, 9609 Center St., Manassas, where a funeral will start at 10 a.m. Interment will follow in Middleburg Cemetery, Middleburg.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions in his name to VFW Post 8469, 5703 Vogue Road, Fairfax Station, Va., 22039.
