Marie Sullivan Kilduff, 104, passed away Thursday, Oct. 18, 2012.
Marie was born Aug. 7, 1908. She spent most of her long life in Michigan. Until recently, she lived independently in a senior citizen apartment in Dearborn, Mich.
Two years ago she moved to Fredericksburg to live with her daughter Marycarol Spier and son-in-law Robert Spier. She is also survived by a son, James T. Kilduff, M.D. (Mary Jane), in Belfair, Wash.; six grandchildren, Scott, Stacie and Kirk Spier, and Brian, Kristen and Kevin Kilduff; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her sister, four brothers and many other relatives and friends. Her long life and determined independence was supported by a deep faith in God and His love.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 23, at St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church, Fredericksburg.
