On Sept. 21, sports fans in King George County were treated to the first sporting event at their new high school sports field. It took years of planning and community involvement, but that Friday evening it all came together.
Though dozens of people were involved in making this happen, one person--Alex Fisher, the high school athletic director--was the single person most responsible for bringing the project to closure. Next time you see Alex, tell him "Thanks."
