Emily Alberta Pendleton, 67, of Fredericksburg passed away Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, at Mary Washington Hospital.
She was born in Fredericksburg on Dec. 16, 1944, to John and Irene Berryman.
She is survived by her children, Jacqueline VanNorman, Roy M. Pendleton Jr. and Johnathan Pendleton; sister Ruth Beverly; brother Sanford Cole; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death her husband, Roy N. Pendleton Sr.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16, at A.L. Bennett and Son Funeral Home. A service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 17, at the funeral home. Burial will be in Mount Lawn Cemetery.
