I completely disagree with Ben Blankenship Jr. ["Sad day for the country," Nov. 12]. I am not the least bit sad about the outcome of this election. I did not vote for one Republican. You win some, you lose some.

I have strong thoughts about those who voted Republican, but I will not denigrate their choice. I saw nothing in the makeup of Mitt Romney that suggested he would be a good leader.

I pray for the future of our country. I happen to think it is in better hands.
