Gilmer Way Jr., 78, of Stafford County passed away Thursday, Nov. 22, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Way was a member of Grove Baptist Church in Goldvein, he had retired from the FBI as a tractor operator.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Bridges Way; son Daniel Way (Melonie); daughters Sherri Nosar (Freddy) and Shelda Anderson (Roger); brother Kenny Way (Emma); sister Linda Dobbins (Garland); seven grandchildren Jami Nosar, Jeffrey Nosar (Sharon), Roger Anderson III, Nichole Anderson, Hayli Anderson, Katie Way and Phillip Way; one great-grandchild, Jude Nosar; stepchildren David Bridges Jr. (Darlene), Dana Batts (Bob), Dwayne Bridges (Cindy) and Deena Johnson (Corey); step-grandchildren Lyssa Rieker (John), Christi Bruce (Mike), David Bridges III, Travis Batts, Cameron Dickerson, Natalie Batts, JD Roberts, Kaylee Bridges, Clay Bridges, Coby Johnson and Amanda Bridges; and step-great-grandchildren Faith Dickerson, Skyler Dickerson, Brooklyn Bruce, Lilly Bruce and Gabriella Burton.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Patty Way, and a daughter, Sheila Thompson.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will be held at noon Tuesday, Nov. 27, at the funeral home chapel, with the Rev. Ron Roach officiating.
