John Kechula, 69, of Partlow died Thursday, Nov. 29, 2012, at Spotsylvania Regional Hospital.

Mr. Kechula had worked as a defense contractor for the Department of Defense. He enjoyed movies, photography and current events.

Survivors include his wife of 25 years, Brenda Braden Kechula; stepson Nathan Braden; brother Michael Kechula; and five grandchildren, Kate, Alyssa, Donavan, Dante and Emily.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg. Burial will be private.
