Sandra W. Jurek, 70, of Lake of the Woods passed away at her residence Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Victor; two sons, Jay (wife Tracey) of Stafford County and Marc (wife Tobie) of Mechanicsville. Also surviving are grandsons Jayson (wife Jennifer), Sam and Joshua; granddaughters Jessica and Libby; and two great-grandchildren, Alexandra and Ashton.
She is also survived by relatives in Minnesota: two brothers, David Warner (wife Kathy) and John (wife Anita); her 94-year-old mother, Florene Zimmerman; and several nieces and nephews.
Sandra was preceded in death by her father, Raymond; sister Susan Kingsbury; and two children, Jon Jurek and Pamela Jurek Sherwood.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, at Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg.
Interment will be private in Laurel Hill Memorial Park.
The family requests that any expressions of sympathy be made to the Spotswood Baptist Church Building Fund or Mary Washington Hospice.
