On Nov. 21, several of our Heartfields residents, accompanied by some of our staff, went to Ruby Tuesday in Central Park to enjoy their monthly Out-to-Lunch. I was out of the office during this time, but upon my return I learned that at lunch several people approached my staff and complimented them on their patience, demeanor, and attention to making sure that the residents had such a wonderful time.

When it was time to pay the bill, they were told it was paid for in its entirety by Santa Claus.

Very simply, I want to thank those who took the time to speak with our staff and acknowledge them and what they do every day, and to thank Santa Claus--your generosity was amazing. Please accept our thanks and know that you made a difference that day, as we are sure you do every day.
