Vernice Maude Letherer 90, of Spotsylvania County passed away Sunday, Dec. 16, 2012, at Hughes Home in Fredericksburg.

She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church and loved children, animals, flowers and life.

Mrs. Letherer was predeceased by her parents, George and Jane Perry; her husband, Carl Letherer; two brothers, Calvin and Otis Perry; and one sister, Vada Edenton.

She is survived by her son, Ron Letherer, of Culpeper; her daughter, Sharon Moser and her husband, William, of Fredericksburg; grandchildren Jennifer Bywaters, Sarah Moser and Margot Moser; a great-grandchild, Brianna Bywaters; and special nephew, Bob and wife Lois Ulrich of Woodbridge.

The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 22, at Good Hope Baptist Church, where a service will be officiated by Pastor Scott Quinn at 11 a.m., with burial following in the church cemetery.
