Anyone who remembers the Clinton assault weapon ban, which expired in 2004, will recall how ridiculous it was.
Now, calls to reinstate this ban are flying. Basically, it banned the appearance of the weapon and limited the number of rounds in the magazine. If the weapon does or does not have a "bayonet lug," "flash hider," or a "handle," does it matter when someone is shot with it?
Let's all calm down and proceed with common sense and not emotion.
