Ernest Lawrence Morin, 75, of Stafford County, formerly of Spotsylvania County, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, in Stafford.

Born June 1, 1937, in Detroit, Mich., he was the son of the late Alexander E. Morin and Isabell Fournier Morin. He was also predeceased by his wife, Lillie Mae Morin.

Mr. Morin was a retired boilermaker with Dominion Power and a retired Navy veteran.

Mr. Morin is survived by his significant other, Ellen Mathews of Stafford, a stepson, Charles Morgan Jr. of Spotsylvania; 56 stepgrandchildren and stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Mildred Barry of Port St. Joe, Fla., Agnes Wlock and husband Ronald of Bay City, Mich., and Helen Irish and husband Larry of Covington, Ga.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, at Preddy Funeral Home Chapel in Orange. Interment will follow in Graham cemetery. Father Terry Staples will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
