Paul L. Boley, 74, of Fredericksburg, formerly of Portage, Pa., passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at Kindred Hospital in Richmond.

Born March 26, 1938, in Cassandra, Pa., he was a son of Raymond and Julia Yogus Boley. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sisters Delores and Charlotte.

He is survived by daughters Julie Coates and Lisa Patton and husband Bruce, all of Virginia; son James Boley and wife Michelle of Florida; grandchildren Shawn and Heather Coates, Brooklyn and Emersen Boley and Corey Patton; former wife Constance Jantis Boley of Virginia; siblings Rose James of Portage, Donald Boley and wife Edith of Summerhill, Pa., Ruth Seabolt and husband Gus of Portage and Esther Hatfield of Portage.

At the family's request there will be no viewing. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, at Matthew R. Decort Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Portage, where a funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, with Father Paul Robine officiating. Committal will be in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery in Cresson, Pa.

The family expresses their sincere gratitude to the members of Kindred Hospital. Their dedication and effort to provide quality care over the last five weeks was a heartwarming blessing to the entire family.
