Harold William Gatewood, 71, of Woodford passed away Thursday, Jan. 10, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Gatewood was a member of Spotswood Baptist Church. He was a repairman for Amtrak.

Survivors include his son, Jason William Gatewood of Stafford County; daughter Sandra Fay Gatewood Tolbert of Pamplin; two grandchildren, Gary Tolbert Jr. and Teresa F. Tolbert; sister Laura Howell of Caroline County; and caregiver Linda Carter of Caroline.

He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann Middlebrook Gatewood; and parents John Bernard and Dorothy Elizabeth Carneal Gatewood.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.

A service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, at the funeral home chapel. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
