Viola Virginia Hart, 90, of King George County went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at her residence surrounded by her family.

Viola was a member of Potomac Baptist Church, where she was class secretary and a Sunday school teacher. She was very active in her church.

Survivors include her children, Jackie Hart (Karen), Virginia Ann Braden (David), Billy Hart (Joyce), Sandi Chittum and David Hart (Judy); brother Archie Weeks; 10 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hart.

A service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, at Potomac Baptist Church, 8103 Comorn Road, King George. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
