Corine Emma Clapper, 72, of Stafford County passed away at her home Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.
She was born July 24, 1940, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frazier.
Mrs. Clapper retired in 2002 from Rappahannock Area Community Services Board, after 20 years of service. She enjoyed reading, puzzles and spending time with her family.
Corine is survived by her children, Meredith Brooks and her husband, Dean Payne, of Stafford, Suzannah Clapper of Spotsylvania County and James Clapper of the home; two grandsons, Julian Brooks and his wife, Kinzie, and Jeffrey Payne; and one great-granddaughter, Alexandria Brooks.
Corine's family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Jan. 30, at Found and Sons Funeral Chapels-Cremation Service, 10719 Courthouse Road, Fredericksburg, with a funeral following at noon.
In lieu of flowers, Corine's family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Rappahannock Adult Activities Inc., 750 Kings Highway, Fredericksburg, Va. 22405.
