Tamra Q. Jones' apt reminder of our proud American history ["God save your king, Mr. Hudson, and our guns," Jan. 22] spoke to my pugnaciously independent heart.
But I'm unclear on one point. Who am I supposed to shoot with my guns? Maybe some Taliban terrorist climbing over my back fence in the dead of the night? Perhaps some American soldier at my front door sent to collect taxes I believe were unjustly levied? Or maybe, even now, the Brits are conniving once again to raid the armory at Concord and stifle our determination for independence.
Whom do I shoot, Ms. Jones?
