N. Jean Dellinger

Norma Jean Rhea Dellinger, 58, of Stafford County returned to the Lord on Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Indiana, Pa., on April 7, 1954, she was the daughter of Ethel Deane Pearce Rhea and the late Frank Vernon Rhea.

Jean and her husband ran a small family business together for more than 35 years. She was also employed for the past 10 years with the Stafford County school system. The past five years she served as the counseling secretary at H.H. Poole Middle School, where she was awarded Service Employee of the Year 2012-2013.

Surviving Jean are her loving husband, Harold David Dellinger; daughters Rebecca Rowely (Matt), Heidi Baker (Brandon), Ashly Dellinger and Tracy Rowe (Thomas); and son David Lee Dellinger. Jean was overjoyed to be a grandmother to five grandchildren and with the upcoming birth of twin grandchildren.

The family expresses their gratitude to Jean's many friends and co-workers for all the love and support that was shown to Jean during her short battle with pancreatic cancer.

A memorial service will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 9, at H.H. Poole Middle School.
