Helene Brancato Thorpe, 74, of King of Prussia, Pa., died peacefully surrounded by family on Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013.

She was the beloved wife of the late Edward J. Thorpe and devoted mother of Holly Beauchamp (John) and Amy Dahart (Ronald). She is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Juliet and Hunter Beauchamp and Henry Dahart.

Her memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at Trinity Episcopal Church, Gulph Mills, Pa., with a reception to follow in the undercroft.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Upper Merion Township Library, Attn: Children's Department, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia, Pa. 19406.
