Betty D. Clay, 80, of Fredericksburg died Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, at Mary Washington Hospital.

Survivors include her son, Gerald L. Clay Jr. (Diana); daughter Betty Clay Powell (Joseph); brothers Isaac "Pete" Dease, Johnny Dease, Paul Dease and Wayne Dease; sisters Frances Wagstaff and Addie Hobgood; four grandchildren, Scott Powell (Barbara), Eric Powell (Paula), Kevin Clay and Nathan Harley (Alyssa); and seven grandchildren, Christian, Andrew, Connor, Kathryn, Kaitlyn, Sydney and Gavin.

Mrs. Clay was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald L. Clay Sr.; parents Linwood and Maggie Dease; sisters Angie Long and Janie Saunders.

Services will be private.
