Jasper Bell, 77, of Camp Springs, Md., passed away Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Charlotte Hall Veterans Nursing Home in Charlotte Hall, N.C.

He is survived by his wife, Sammie Bell of Clinton, Md.; daughter Pamela Bell-Pitts; and four sons, Kenneth Robinson, Ronald Bell, the Rev. Dr. Michael T. Bell of King George County and Douglas Bell of Waldorf, Md.

A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 22, at East Friendship Baptist Church, Washington, D.C., with the Rev. Melvin M. Maxwell officiating. Burial will be in Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery in March.
