A showing of support
Spotsylvania Middle School students sent expressions of support and appreciation to the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office yesterday for the efforts being made to find the killer of their classmate, Kati Lisk, and her sister, Kristin.
Sheriff Ron Knight said that he, his investigators and staff were Îuplifted' by the show of support from the 80 students who wrote encouraging messages and drew pictures on individual cards and attached them to a large poster. ÎEverybody thinks that it is the greatest thing ever,' Knight said. ÎThe support of the community has been overwhelming. We are getting a lot of calls, and city businesses and groups have donated food to the staff all week.' Today, the Chancellor Middle School Parent Teachers Organization provided a luncheon for the entire staff in the squad room.
