A fine and honorable man (posted by rhall , Apr. 17, 2008 11:12 am)    0 likes
Judge Scott and I crossed paths for the first time in 1985 while he was still in private practice. I had been asked to come into a death penalty case he and another lawyer in his firm had handled. I'll never forget his courage and his conviction about right and wrong. His first words to me were "If you come across anything you think I did wrong don't be afraid to speak up. That man shouldn't suffer the consequences of my errors." John Scott as lawyer and Judge was committed to doing what was right.
