Runners will long want to remember their participation
in the inaugural Marine Corps Historic Half.
“It’s not everyday people can participate in the first of something,” said Rick Nealis, Race Director.
To commemorate the experience of running the historic streets of Fredericksburg on the 13.1-mile course, the Marine Corps Historic Half has partnered with several companies to sell keepsakes and “love me” wall mementos.
MarathonFoto, the premier race event photography company, will shoot photos of all runners in multiple locations on the course and at the finish. Shortly after the race, runners will be able to access their photos on the MarathonFoto site by referencing their bib number. A variety of products incorporating the photos are available for purchase.
Crossing the Line will feature the original artwork of Ohio-based artist Shaun Kinley. The painting, inspired by the Historic Half, features runners along a recognizable span of the course. Prints will be available for sale online and at the expo, as well as personalized recognition products printed on color-rich high-resolution bright aluminum.
The Historic Half Apparel Store features products from New Balance. Each piece incorporates the smart Historic Half clock tower logo. The line includes technical performance apparel, hats and souvenirs. The store will be located within the Healthy Lifestyle Expo directly outside packet pick-up. The Half Apparel Store will also sell products online through MarineCorps
