Through the Grow Up Great Head Start Grants Program, PNC Bank has awarded the two organizations a $36,500 grant and volunteer time to support school readiness for the children. The Head Start children will attend six field trips to the Friends of the Rappahannock and participate in four in-class activities to get hands-on experience with scientific concepts.
