The NITMAC serves as a national resource and focal point for solving national needs such as homeland defense, critical infrastructure protection, chemical and biological defense, counter-narcoterrorism, technologies, maritime security, electromagnetic environmental effects, and special technology countermeasures. NITMAC's mission is to arm our national leadership, and operational forces with innovative, responsive, technical solutions that strengthen the global defense posture. It represents just one new approach or launching NSWC into the 21st century.
