Fredericksburg police are looking for a man who is accused of stabbing a man in broad daylight Saturday and leaving behind the car he drove to the attack. Bryant "Dee" Davis, 39, is charged with malicious wounding. Police spokeswoman Natatia Bledsoe said the 20-year-old victim was in the 1200 block of Dixon Street about 2:20 p.m. when a man got out of a gray, four-door vehicle and approached him. After stabbing the victim in the neck, Bledsoe said, the suspect ran away, leaving his car running. The victim's godmother was among those who witnessed the attack. Bledsoe said police learned that the suspect had borrowed the rental car from a woman. The victim suffered a severe wound and was taken to Mary Washington Hospital. He identified Davis as the attacker, but claimed he did not know the reason for the attack. Bledsoe said witnesses told police that about an hour before the stabbing, Davis and the victim had exchanged heated words outside the victim's home in Mayfield.

What IS suprising is that this didnt end as a shooting with either a homicide or accidential death of a innocent by-stander as the result...
Someone needs to stab his tale. It doesnt matter if there was a reason or not. People are just freakin crazy around here. WHAT HAS HAPPEN TO THIS PLACE....
A stab in the neck means that the attacker was trying to cut the jugular vein. There has to be a reason, and the victim must know why he was stabbed. It is very suspicious that the victim knew the attacker, that there must be some serious motive behind this.
