UMW students to pay more in spring

November 20, 2009 12:00 am

The University of Mary Washington's Board of Visitors today approved a tuition increase of $100, which takes effect in the spring semester.

According to a release from the school, the increase is expected to generate about $435,000.

The school says the decision will help offset the loss of state funds in recent years.
