Thanks to all of our crews for the great job on the structure fire this morning on Spotswood Furnace Road.
All of our Stations were staffed and responded quickly. Co. 5, 6, 7 and 10 along with EMS units from 5, 6 and 10 responed. Our Chief's and Support 5 were also on scene. We were also assisted by Co. 1.
Our staffing levels and response times were excellent! Two patients were rescued from the house and transported to Mary Washington Hospital. Great work by our fire crews getting the patients out of the house and great work with our EMS crews working these patients and getting them to the hospital. One patient did not survive and was pronounced at the hospital.
From disptach to on scene time Co. 5 was about FOUR MINUTES! All other units were quickly on scene also.
Awesome job! Thanks to all of you for the great work! The full staffing last night/ this morning made a difference!
