Flood Warning, Tornado Watch issued for region. Date published: 9/30/2010
The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning that remains in effect through this afternoon for all of the Fredericksburg region.
Heavy rain continues to fall in much of the region, leaving roadways - especially near creeks or streams - vulnerable to rapid flooding. The Rappahannock River is expected to crest at 16.5 feet at 8 tomorrow night at the City Dock, according to latest estimates from the city. Flood stage is 18 feet. Click here for the latest forecast.
